Classical pianist. Husband of Anita Lasker. Father of Raphael Wallfisch. Grandfather of Simon Wallfisch, Joanna Wallfisch and Benjamin Wallfisch. Emigrated to Palestine in 1938. Studied at the Jerusalem Conservatoire. Lived in Paris from 1946 to 1949. Settled in London in 1951, where he married Anita Lasker in 1952. Received the British citizenship in 1958. Retired in 1991 after a stroke.
