Studied canto with Dumitru Mihăilescu-Toscani și Leo Kalmuschi in Bucharest.
Start working first as a painter of churches
1929 debut as a singer in Craiova at National Theatre
1929-1934 - part of Corul Ansamblului „Armonia” din Craiova (Choir "Harmony" from Craiova).
1935 - recorded his first disc at Cristal (2)
1936 - graduated Modern Philology University, Bucharest
1934-1945 - singing as vocal soloist in various restaurants in Bucharest, recorded numerous discs at label Cristal (2) (later Electrecord).
1948-1954 - part of Ansamblul de Estradă al Teatrului Armatei din București (Estrada Ensemble of Army Theatre, Bucharest)
1958-1960 - works as artistic instructor
