Philippa Bulgin

Danish singer (1967-1994). Co-founded Danser med Drenge in 1991 with Klaus Kjellerup and sang lead on their debut album in 1993. Shortly before the album promotion tour she was diagnozed with cancer and went through surgery. The tour however became a major succes, but afterwards she became ill again. A quick album follow-up was planned to let her sing as many vocals as possible while still able, but she never recorded again and died in march 1994, aged 26. Shortly before death she withdrew from the band and asked Kjellerup to find a another singer - that subsequently became Rie Rasmussen.
