PKS has been a techno/ambient/psytrance DJ since 1998, and been writing music reviews for trance.net. He has played on major psytrance festivals around the world, such as Soulclipse in Turkey, Boom Festival in Portugal, Voov Experience in Germany, Sonica Electronic Music Festival in Italy and the Full Moon Festival in Germany. He ran the [url=http://www.discogs.com/label/Chill+Tribe+Records]Chill Tribe Records[/url] label in Oslo, Norway, that released ambient, dub and downbeat music, during 2005-2009. Slagsvold is as of 2024 working as Head Engineer at the Natural History Museum, University of Oslo.
