After The VSS disbanded, Sonny Kay went on to start Subpoena The Past and Year Future, while the band's other three members regrouped in San Francisco in the late 90s as Slaves who changed their name to Pleasure Forever in 2000/2001. They disbanded shortly after "Alter" in 2003, but released a posthumous compilation in 2007.
