Prager Handgriff is a German "Dark EBM" project, formed in 1990 in Witten by Stefan Schäfer (vocals, electronic drums) and Volker Rathmann (keyboards, programming). They used the name "Der Prager Handgriff" for their early releases, later they reduced it to "Prager Handgriff" only. For their Best Of compilation "Handarbeiten" (released in 2005) they used the full name again.
