About

Portuguese project that combines a variety of music styles. It was started in 2004, in the city of Coimbra, by Cérebro De Pão.
The beginning was marked by experimental electronics, but soon the introduction of a wide range of instruments, such as guitars, percussions, keyboards, etc., and also voices and choirs, lead the project to other music styles. The most notorious of which is folk. The song lyrics are often based on old Portuguese poems and stories.
The combination of diverse musical horizons is maybe the most important characteristic of Prolepse's work.
