Prozac Memory

About

Prozac Memory was an emo/punk band from Columbia, Missouri started in 1991 by Jared Anderson (guitar), Todd Ramsey (drums) and Ben Graham (early bass/vocals). They recruited Will Casey as the bass player later in 1991. While practicing at WIll's house one day in east campus, Sam Dothage climbed literally into the window and figuratively into their hearts. It wasn't until Sam joined that the band that they became good. After a short tour and demo, Will Casey was replaced by Homer Harrison. This is the line up that lasted through the end of the band around 1995. PM released their first two singles on Columbia's Faye Records (Accident Prone b/w Fuerte and Rotunda and Mapmaker b/w Chisel Tone). The most prolific release was a split LP with Alton, IL's Back of Dave on Playing Field Records. They also have songs on the Ebulition "Some Ideas Are Poisonous" compilation, Polyvinyl's Direction comp and Crank! Records (Don't Forget to) Breathe.
