Psychic Bloom

Psychic Bloom are an Iranian garage band, incorporating elements of soul, R&B, and early psychedelic rock sound. The band consists of lead singer and guitarist Hashil, Keivan on bass guitar and keyboard, and Archi on the drums.

The band was formed in 2012 in Tehran, when Hashil met an old college classmate, Keivan, back in university. In the early years, the two were looking for a bass player, but after a while, due to failing in banding up with a few musicians who could fit in, Keivan picked playing bass guitar as his new role in the band. Since then, they started to form their own sound which led to the self-titled debut album, Psychic Bloom. Archi, a friend drummer who they'd hooked up with previously, worked as the drummer during the recording sessions.
