Rai King

Vibert Cornwall, better known as Ray King, came to Coventry, UK, from the Grenadines in the Caribbean as a teenager and went on to become the city’s first black singer to record an LP. Mr Cornwall is credited as the inspiration behind the city’s 2-Tone movement and is famous for his solo singing in the Ray King Soul Band.
