    He was married to Dunja Siegel (1975–1989, two common daughters, Giulia Siegel and Marcella Siegel), Dagmar Kögel (1992– 2002, daughter Alana Siegel) and Kriemhild Jahn (2006–2016). Since 2018 he is now married to Swiss Music Manager Laura Siegel (born Käfer) of whom he adopted daughter Ruby.
