    Ray & Bob

Cash Box Magazine for July 26, 1958 has the following article: "It’s always nice to hear from Don Smith, John Contney and Bob Maurer of Records Unlimited in Milwaukee. This time they claim they have a hit on their hands. It’s a cute ditty 'Why Oh Why' by Bob and Ray Titzie (16 and 17 years old respectively) and The Rollettes." The 1950 census confirms Raymond L. Titzie living in Waukesha, WI, 8 years old (which could make him 17 by 1958). However Robert was his older brother, being 17 in 1950, which would make him 25 or 26 in 1958. That same issue advertises a new release from Cinch Records "Why Oh Why" b/w "My Everything". The release of that lists LeRoy Titzie as the writer of both, he was another brother, 2 years older than Raymond.
