British mastering and lacquer cutting engineer based in London.
Staff started his music career as studio assistant at Trident Studios in 1970. In 1986 he then moved to mastering at Trident Studios then subsequently to Trident Studios in 1994, followed by a move to Trident Studios (all in London, UK). Also known to work at Trident Studios. Between 2010 and 2018, Ray Staff ran Trident Studios in London, UK, part of the Air Studios complex. Since 2018 he is no longer employed by Air Studios but will work on selected projects only.
