Raymond Morrison

Producer and composer active in the 1970s and 1980s. Producing mainy reggae music. he was connected with the [url=https://www.discogs.com/label/80080-Hyfan-Records]Hyfan Records and [url=https://www.discogs.com/label/113001-Hawk-Records-2]Hawk Records[/url] labels. During the 1960s. he was the lead singer of [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Ramong_Sound]The Ramong Sound[/url] which had Alan Warner[/url] as the guilarist and Clem Curtis as backup singer who would move more to the front. Apparently trumpet player Mike Falana was a member too. With Morrison departing due to legal issues, Curtis was joined by Arthur Brown and along the way the group became The Foundations

Morrison recorded a single [url=https://www.discogs.com/release/6559736-Raymond-Morrison-Girl-I-Want-To-Hold-You-]"Girl I Want to Hold You"[/url] that was released in 1970. with his lady Tamara Edwards they became the Ram & Tam duo who recorded some singles and an album between the late 1970s and until the 1980s.

Raymond Morrison died in February 2013 at the age of 81 in Jamaica.
