Regina Maria Pisarek (born. 25 March1939 in Warsaw, died. 22 January 1998 in Nadarzyn) – polish singer
The fact is that Regina Pisarek - although she had a lot of hits in her repertoire ( check! ) That were hummed by all of Poland - was not a favorite of communist dignitaries.

The communist authorities could not forgive her for working for several years in western Germany, where she recorded songs in German (the contract was won in a competition for which she entered by accident) and ran her own radio broadcast, "Songs by Regina Pisarek".

Admittedly, when the heads of the Hamburg radio suggested that she stay in Germany permanently, she categorically refused, but after returning to the country she had to fight again for her place on the stage, because the Propaganda Bureau of the Central Committee of the Polish United Workers' Party (Władysław Gomułka was then the party's first secretary) treated her like a traitor - reportedly she was punished for refusing to cooperate with the Security Services.
