René Wulff

Danish drummer, vocalist, guitarist, harmonica player and songwriter, born 23 January 1950 in Hvidovre. Mostly known for his years as drummer in C. V. Jørgensen, after which he named his 2018 autobiography "Det Ganske Lille Band - mine år med C.V. Jørgensen".

Wulff formed his first band at the age of 11, a guitar trio including childhood friend Claus Wolter. Bought his first drumkit at the age of 12 and played local youth clubs in a band throughout his teenage years. Founding member of Hutlihut in 1967. From the early 70's in Sensory System that disbanded in 1976. The same year shortly with both Barbarella and Charlatangruppen for their first album before he in 1977 became drummer in C. V. Jørgensen. After Carsten Valentin Jørgensen left the band late '79, the rest of the members recorded a new album under the name C.V. Moto . In 1986 he was in the first line-up of The Intellectuals. In 2010 he released his first solo-album, now as blues singer and guitarist and since then have worked exclusively in his own name with several subsequent releases.
