Born July 27th, 1976 in West-Berlin, Rhymin' Simon was member of the notorious Die Sekte rap crew until 2001, known for his brutal and sexist yet witty lyrics. He is working as a chemist and is said to be the first German rapper with a real PhD. His doctoral thesis "Natural product synthesis: Total synthesis of (+)-Phomopsolide C by ring-size selective ring-closing metathesis/cross-metathesis" was graded "Summa Cum Laude".
