Rita Yahan-Farouz Born on March 24, 1962 in Tehran/Iran moved with her family to Israel in 1970. Both her parents are Jews, her mother is of Iranian Jewish ancestry and her father is of part Russian Jewish-Polish Jewish ancestry. Rita was married to the popular pianist, composer, and singer Rami Kleinstein, with whom she has two daughters - Meshi and Noam. On 1990 Rita performed Israel in The Eurovision Song Contest with the sing "Singing In The Street" ("שרה ברחובות"). On September 3, 2007, it was announced that Rita and Rami were separating and it came true.
