Known as Bob. Founder and owner of Delmar Records - named after the street of his first store - later changed to Delmar Records. Moved to Chicago in 1958 and opened the first Jazz Record Mart store which has gone on to be a Chicago institution. He sold the store in 2016 and opened the smalled Bob's Blues & Jazz Mart a few months later.
