US record company and television executive. Joined NBC (2) in 1948 as an account executive and worked his way up to become President of the network in 1955. Left NBC in 1965 to take over the role of President of NBC (2) from his father David Sarnoff. Also became the CEO in 1970, he held both positions until leaving RCA in 1975. Husband of opera singer Anna Moffo.
