    Ruth (Rut) Scales Reginalds, born 1965, is probably one of the brightest child stars in Icelandic music history, but at the same time a sad example of how fame, attention and temptations related to it can play in children's footsteps. Ruth had lived in New York for a few years as a child when she came home to Iceland and moved to Keflavík with her mother and foster father in the beginning of 1973, then in her eighth year.
