American rapper, lyricist, producer, and actor, born August 23, 1970, Oakland, California – died November 19, 2024. He founded the hip hop group Hobo Junction, and was a member of Digital Underground.


On July 30, 1992, Saafir suffered a back injury as a result of an aircraft accident. In later years he used a wheelchair due to complications from spinal surgery.
