Brazilian Thrash / Death Metal band that formed in 1991 as Morbid, and changed their name to Sacrario in 1992. Not to be confused with an earlier band by the same name, who released a demo in 1988 titled "Wasted Land." This earlier band, however, gave them the blessing to use the name that they had gone by, since they had already split up by this time. The Sacrario band that was founded in the '90s eventually did cover versions of the earlier band Sacrario's songs "Extreme Unction" (on their 2008 album), and "Bloody Night" on 2015's "Circle of Psychopaths," which had a couple members from the earlier band provide guest vocals on the track.
