    Born May 21, 1903 in New York City, New York, USA.
    Died August 26, 1992 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, USA.
    Brother of vaudeville comedian Herman Timberg.
    Timberg wrote for Broadway stage, film studios, & TV.
    Timberg was Fleischer Studio's resident composer. He wrote the music to the title song of the Betty Boop short House Cleaning Blues, while Bob Rothberg wrote the lyrics. The two worked together to write about a dozen songs for Betty Boop shorts, and they wrote several other songs for Fleischer cartoons.
