About

(Eng. "Dreamers")
Serbian girl beat band active in period 1965-1969 in former Yugoslavia.
Members were:
Ljiljana Mandić - solo guitar, vocals
Slobodanka Miščević - rhythm guitar, vocals
Ljiljana Jeftić - bass
Vojislav Veljković - drums (1965-1966)
Ratomir Vuković - keyboards (1965-1966)
Snežana Veselinović - drums (from 1966)

Serbia's Sanjalice played their first show on 29 December, 1964 in Belgrade's Pionirski Grad. The original members were Ljiljana Mandić (vocals, guitar), Slobodanka Miščević (guitar, vocals), Ljiljana Jevtić (bass), Vojislav Veljković (drums), and Radomir Vuković (keyboards). In 1966 Veljković joined the army and was replaced by his then-girlfriend, Snežana Veselinović. The only remaining male member, Vuković, left soon after and thus, in 1965, they became Yugoslavia's first all-female rock band.
In 1967 they won first place in a battle of the bands, performed in Romania, and released their first two EPs, "Idem u svet" and "Marioneta".
In 1969 they released their third EP, "Marijana".
In 1969 they retired the band to focus on studies.
