Sappy Bell

For 6 years now, Sappy Bell has been tearing up the live scene with its new take on hard rock and heavy metal. Formed in 1995 the original four-piece independently released the EP "Vintage" in 1996. After a reincarnation as a 3-piece in the following year, Post Haste and Grog was released in early 1998. This second EP hailed "Seattle-sound" reviews as a positive basis for future releases.

1999 was a year of reinvention for Sappy Bell, another change in the lineup was followed by putting live shows on hold. The end of the year saw the release of the studio-only band's Six Become One. The EP experimented with different styles of hard rock/ heavy metal/ hardcore and all out rock 'n roll. A quick follow up in early 2000, What We've Become, cemented Sappy Bell as an unstoppable force in hard rock/ heavy metal.

2000/2001 has been all about the live shows, as any good band should be. The current lineup has shared the stage with many regional and national acts over the years. More recently Sappy Bell has played with: Nothingface, E-Town Concrete, Dog Fashion Disco, Relative Ash, Symposium, MXPX (Arthur), Mystery Machine and Season to Risk.

Constantly showcasing new material, Sappy Bell hits audiences with "neo-metal and hard rock combined with old school metal and punk"- Taxi Music.
