ShockOne started out as two guys from Perth, Australia, Jay Burns & Karl Thomas. They'd been in a metal band with Rob Swire & Gareth McGrillen, and after they left to form Pendulum, Jay & Karl formed ShockOne. Later Jay Burns left ShockOne, leaving just Karl Thomas.
