Beginning in about 1963 and for decades following, Gunter was miscredited on many record labels for a song actually written by Mann And Weil titled, "Where Have You Been (All My Life)," owing to a title similarity. Began career with Happy Wilson and his Goldin River Boys until 1949. TV's first country disc jockey.
