    Blues singer and harmonica player, born 1923 in Mansfield, Louisiana, died in 1970, disciple of John Lee Sonny Boy Williamson. During the war he moved to California where he cut some down home titles along with KC Douglas for Down Town, Imperial, Dig, Arhoolie and Prestige.
