Skartel is a band formed at the beginning of 94 after other projects that followed it [ResistEnciA y Justicia Natural]; At that time, they played more like ska-punk. They developed their musical and political work in popular neighborhood events and some notorious alternative bars, always carrying an Anti-capitalist multicultural message of resistance. Over the years, Skartel evolved his sound, incorporating elements such as samples, synths, drum machines, and scratches, enriching his musical style and exploring genres such as hip-hop, breakbeat, and drum'n'bass; with all its political-social environment, which, together with ska, dub, punk, and reggae, led them to develop their mix and authentic way of playing, that's how they changed their name to SISTEMA SONORO SKARTEL.
