After releasing an unsuccessful single with De Paradijsvogels, Bram Vermeulen and Freek de Jonge tried their luck forming an English-language band with members of Focus, named after a play by Harold Pinter. They recorded a handful of songs in London with producer Paul Atkinson, one of which was released as a single. The record was equally unsuccessful and Vermeulen and De Jonge continued with Neerlands Hoop In Bange Dagen.
