Sonem

Sonem was born in 2005 in Cádiz as a home-study project in the mind of the Cadiz musician Julio M. Pérez.

It will not be until mid-2007 when Sonem completes its training and begins to give concerts. The band would release their first studio EP (Abismo) in 2008, which was very well received by the public and specialized media, playing with Warcry, Centinela, Steelhorse, Sphinx, Huma... or even with Timo Tolkki himself (ex-Stratovarius). ) as session musicians.

In 2010 the group participated in an international tribute album to Helloween and Gammaray called "HelloRay" (Gaia Epicus), with the song "Last before the storm" by GammaRay. An album that after continuous problems and delays was released at the end of March 2012.

After changes in the line-up, they have recently recorded an EP called “Atrapado 2.0” in their own home studio. This EP opens the beginning of a completely renewed new stage for the band thanks to the inspiration and compositional vision of its new guitarist Jose Antonio Garcia Puyana who has brought a fresh air to Sonem's sound.

Currently they are focused on the composition and recording of what will be their long-awaited first LP “Soy tu Interior”, as well as on rehearsals to perform live with the new formation, as always defending Heavy Metal.
