    Sonny Boy & Lonnie

"The credit 'Sonny Boy & Lonnie', or variants of it, was used on a handful of intriguing recordings made in New York at the end of World War II. From detective work by Chris Smith it emerges that the three musicians involved were from Cleveland, Ohio, but little more is known of them." (The Penguin guide to blues recordings (2006), p. 600) The same source names the musicians as "prob. Lonnie Johnson (p, sp); 'Sonny Boy' Smith, Sam Bradley (g, v, sp)".
