American jazz alto saxophonist (also tenor saxophone, heckelphone, oboe and English horn), born August 4, 1933 in Sicily Island, LA; died April 6, 2021.
Moved with family to Oakland, California, in the early 1940s. IN 1954 he met Prince Lasha, with whom he recorded in the 1960s. Later in groups with his wife Barbara Donald. Retired from music in the early 1970s, making a come back c. 1990.
