Legendary underground gangsta rap group from the southside of Kansas City, MO made up of Mon-E-G, Felony 6, D-Man (R.I.P.), Badger Kaine & several other rappers who were all members of a neighborhood crip set. Their debut album, which was released in 1995, is entitled "Ghetto Soldiers". It's a local classic. A must have if you like that mid-90's indie gangsta rap. South Side Posse returned in 2000 with "Anticipation Of Death". This album is dedicated to the late D-Man. It's another banger, featuring Brotha Lynch Hung & Loki from Sac-Town and E-Skool & Dun Deala from the Veteran Click. A third album, thought be called "Friends", was recorded in the early 2000's but it never came out... Of the members, only Mon-E-G pursued a noticeable solo career, releasing several albums & collaborating with Freeway on many occasions.
