Due to Kick Axe's name resembling the infamous vulgar phrase (which would be inappropriate for PG-rated film [which ironically, had two serious cases of the profanity being used]), CBS decided to "re-christianize" them (against the band's wishes) as Spectre General for their appearance in "The Transformers: The Movie" Official Soundtrack.
Although the [url=http://www.discogs.com/Various-The-Transformers-The-Movie-Original-Motion-Picture-Soundtrack/release/6307180]Canadian[/url] [url=http://www.discogs.com/Various-The-Transformers-The-Movie-Original-Motion-Picture-Soundtrack/release/7345526]releases[/url] of this OST restored the band's original name, the damage was done, and Kick Axe decided to quit CBS in 1987.
