Square Cools (Sacramento, 1980-1981) The Square Cools started as a power-trio with Rat's Ass (Pat Stratford) on bass and vocals. Stratford wanted to sing vocals, and so Dusty Coffin (Geoff Magner) was added on bass. After a short stint, Rat's Ass and Dusty Coffin formed Tales of Terror with Mike Hunter and Lyon Wong.
