Just after Parthenogenesis ([a2698443]) disbanded, Vasilis Paleokostas ([a1046630]) got together with Giorgos Dalambiras ([a1046631]) and formed Statues In Motion in the summer of 1981. They composed their own tracks collaborating with their close friend Ilias Mitsakis ([a829261]) who wrote lyrics in English. Recordings for an album were completed by mid-1982, but financial arguments, kept the LP from being released. The band played live only once, on 12th June 1983. A few months after the concert, Paleokostas leaves Greece and the group breaks up. Their sole album was released in December 1983.
