Steve Duda is a Canadian music producer, sound designer, and software developer, best known for his work with electronic music artist Deadmau5. He was born on November 12, 1975, in Toronto, Canada.
Duda started his music career in the late 1990s as a producer, working with artists such as Chris Sheppard and DJ Encore. In 2002 he met Deadmau5 and the two began collaborating on music projects (BSOD, [a=WTF?]). Duda's contributions to deadmau5's tracks include sound design, mixing and mastering.
In addition to his work as a music producer, Duda is also a skilled software developer. He co-founded the software company Xfer Records with deadmau5 in 2007, which has since become well-known for its innovative audio software, such as the Serum synthesizer plugin.
