Steve Martin Caro (born October 12, 1948 - died January 14, 2020) was an American singer, songwriter, guitarist, and drummer. He was a member of the baroque pop band The Left Banke. Originally known as Steve Martin, he added his family surname Caro in the 1980s to avoid confusion with the comedian of the same name. Son of flamenco guitarist/vocalist Sarita Heredia.
