Steven Schick (born 1954) is an American contemporary percussionist, Professor of Music at the University of California, San Diego, and Lecturer in Percussion at the Manhattan School of Music. Besides his own works and performances, he is the founder of the percussion ensemble red fish blue fish and was an All-Star member of Bang On A Can from 1992-2002. In 2007 he became the conductor & music director of the La Jolla Symphony.
