Strain Theory was formed in the mid 90's from Orlando, Fl by Mark "Bo" Bowermaster (guitar), Adam Angell (drums), and Fain (Samples). These three were later joined by vocalist Robbie Wickstrum, bassist Greg Cannone, DJ Jason Blankenship, Phor gutair.
