Formed during the "last quarantine" of 2021, Stray Gods is an international music project, performing Heavy Metal in the style of Iron Maiden. All music of their forthcoming debut album "Storm The Walls" was composed by musician Bob Katsionis (Warrior Path, Serious Black ex-Firewind, Outloud) and lyrics were written by Vangelis Tsintziras and Bob Katsionis. The first contact of Bob was with longtime friend Dan Baune, guitarist of MONUMENT and recently LOST SANCTUARY who also suggested him Artur Almeida of Portuguese Heavy Metallers ATTICK DEMONS as the best fitting singer for the band. The choice of bass player was easy since UK based Gus Macricostas and Bob had been bandmates in Casus Belli back in 2002 and equally obvious was the drummer's position since Thanos Pappas (SCAR OF THE SUN, URIZEN-Bruce Dickinson Tribute Band) is also Bob's bandmate in OUTLOUD and long time friend as well. All led by their common appreciation towards Iron Maiden's music created this project and their debut "Storm The Walls" will soon hit your speakers via Symmetric Records!
