At the beginning of 2016, Denis Wanic and Lucia Seiss joined forces with their band project SUIR. The result is a mixture of Shoegaze, Cold Wave, Dark Wave and Post Punk that perfectly meets today's zeitgeist but still remains independent enough to create its own unique sound. The music is expanded by a visual program which is strongly influenced by the origin of the two from the fields of art history and philosophy and builds a filigree and gloomy overall concept.
After their live debut together with Schwefelgelb and Bleib Modern they signed with the Berlin based label Black Verb Records.
At May 18th 2017 the debut album ATER, mastered by Bleib Modern's frontman Philipp Läufer, was released on vinyl and rereleased on tape through the label "Death of a factor" (UK) at July 30th 2017.
