Artist
Swedish hard & heavy band formed by bass player Marcel Jacob in 1989. Talisman disbanded in 2007 due to Jacob's health issues. Jacob ended up committing suicide in 2009. The band did a one-off live performance at the Sweden Rock festival 2014. In 2019 they released the first new song in 12 years "Never Die (a song for Marcel)” to commemorate Marcel Jacob's passing. In 2024, the remaining members released the song "Save Our Love" as a tribute to what would have been Marcel's 60th birthday. Later that year Talisman performed once again at the Sweden Rock festival 2024 in memory of Marcel.
