Tatir

Black Metal band from Hellas formed in June 1994 by Hierophant and Ancient Follower.

Ancient Follower left the band after few months. In February '95 Tatir became two member act again with the addition of Filid Of Carpathian Forest on drums and in June '95 they added the session (at the time) guitarist Necrolord.
With this line up they entered Storm Studio (Athens/Hellas) and they recorded their first release the demo ''Dark Autumn Nights''.
The demo was produced by the mastermind of the Hellenic sound M.W. Daoloth, he also played the keyboards on the demo as guest appereance.

During the songwriting of the ''Dark Autumn Nights'', Tatir worked with a second guitarist named Jim a.k.a Faceless, who wrote a different version for the song ''Katavasia'', including a solo.
This version was never recorded officially.
After the demo recording Necrolord became stable member of the band.

In November '95 they entered Studio 5 and with the addition of Lord Necrorium on flute they recorded their second demo ''Fons Acheroni'' mixed by M.W. Daoloth.
The demo was released in June '96.

A 7'' inch EP was also recorded on May 1996,which contains a re-recorded version of ''Vastland of the Eternal Torments'' from ''Dark Autumn Nights'' Demo, a new song entitled ''The Drawl Of Naiad'' and an intro.
It was never released though and there are only 2 copies (in DAT Form) of it owned by Hierophant and Filid Of Carpathian Forest.
Although it got released as a compilation in 2012 along with their two demos.

A full length was also planned to be released around 1996-'97 entitled ''Τράγων Ωδή'' (Ode of the Goats'').

Filid left in 1996 and after that the band was practically inactive.
They split up around 1997.
