Tekla Goldman

Psychedelic garage punk band from Otwock, Poland.

Tekla Goldman is a musical return to youthful verve, without paying attention to current trends and fashions. The "Musicians" claim that the lack of skills in playing the instruments is no obstacle for them, only energy counts! Unbridled emotions turn into a noisy garage-punk mixture, full of a psychedelic alternative-rock sauce. Although the percussion parts do not go beyond one trance and uncomplicated rhythm, and a set of two or three chords builds all the songs, the real temperament is revealed in dirty and aggressive vocals sung for two voices. The band has now released their first EP in the Lo-fi sound formula and the do-it-yourself technique, using primitive microphones and amplifiers from the communist era.
