    As a young boy, he joined Die Wiener Sängerknaben (Vienna Choir Boys) in 1994 and soon became leading soprano soloist, before leaving the choir in 1998.
    After his counter-tenor vocal training, he began working immediately with Early Music ensembles such as the Clemencic Consort, Les Musiciens Du Louvre, Les Arts Florissants, Balthasar-Neumann-Ensemble, Les Talens Lyriques, Huelgas-Ensemble, Weser-Renaissance or Le Poème Harmonique.
    He co-founded the vocal sextet Cinquecento in 2004.
