Swedish music group within the Swedish progg movement from Gothenburg that was active around 1973–1978.

The six original members of Text & Musik are trained music teachers in addition to the main singer, Magnus Nilsson, who is an actor. Text & Musik composed poems by poets such as Elmer Diktonius "Jaguaren" and Göran Sonnevi "Det måste gå". The music was in different styles such as rock, jazz and songs. They also had Haitian folk music and instrumental songs on their repertoire.

The group released their records on Nacksving, a politically oriented record company within the progg movement, but was more into poetry than politics.

Text & Musik made a musical play entitled "Det måste hända något", which was played for schoolchildren in large parts of Sweden around 1976–1977.

The members often exchanged instruments with each other both on stage and on record - on the first album, for example, four people take turns playing drums - but the instruments listed in the list below are what they mainly played. On the second album, the group had been expanded with drummer Tomas Olsson and bassist Hannes Råstam. The original members were temporarily reunited in September 2003.
