The Action Design

The Action Design was formed in the summer of 2005 by Emily Whitehurst and Matt McKenzie after the disbandment of Tsunami Bomb. In that same summer, they brought in Brett Friesen to play the drums, and after the release of their 5-song EP in 2006, Jaycen McKissick hopped aboard as the new guitarist. Their style is a mix of their punk rock roots with some dance rhythms, sleek bass lines, and memorable vocal hooks, never really trying to pigeonhole themselves into one style.

On Friday, April 06, 2007, they announced on their myspace blog that Brett decided to part ways with them to continue on with his own stuff.
